Geoffrey has trained hypnotherapists in Portland, Oregon for the past nine years. He has a number of graduates running successful practices in Oregon and southern Washington State. But he has also taught people in the medical professions, psychology, counseling, massage & chiropractic, and nursing professions to use the tools of hypnosis effectively in their jobs. His main focus has been the Professional Course, spread over seven months, with 175 hours of classroom and in house practice training, giving successful graduates the skill and knowledge to immediately set up a practice.The Professional course is designed to cover all the problems typically encountered on a day to day basis,and he offers continuing advice, scripts and help to graduates. Emphasis is given to teaching marketing and administrative skills for running a successful practice.

This has lead to Geoffrey offering Advanced Hypnotherapy courses on an 'ad hoc' basis. He will devise day long or weekend courses on any subject he is asked to conduct provided there is reasonable demand.

He also offers free one day Saturday course on the subject of Hypnotherapy throughout the summer months. He give demonstrations and lecture notes.

Geoffrey was trained in hypnotherapy and NLP at the Institute of Clinical Hypnosis in London, regarded as the leading training college for hypnosis in the United Kingdom, and received a certification in Hypnotherapy as a CHt. He has further expanded his skills here in the USA with many advanced training courses, and believes that continually increasing one's knowledge is an essential part of being a good therapist.

He is also a Certified Pediatric Hypnotist, certified by Don Mottin under the auspices of the National Guild of Hypnotists.

Geoffrey has sixteen years of experience as a hypnotherapist, seven years in London and nine years here in Portland Oregon . He has established a busy general practice in Southwest Portland, and he offers therapy for any presenting problems where he knows and believes hypnotherapy can help.

He was a solicitor in London for 7 years practicing commercial law with a large firm of lawyers, and then spent the rest of his career in investment banking in the City of London. He worked for, and was a director of, a number of UK merchant banks, and he specialized in acquisitions and take overs. He became unhappy with the ethics of business and banking and decided on a change of career. He concluded it was time to give up the megabucks, and give back something to society.

Beverly Martin B.A., M.NLP
is a skilled practitioner and teacher of NLP, having both studied and taught NLP in her native homeland of South Africa, and here in the Northwest for several years.
She used NLP extensively in her work with executives in corporate South Africa. In 1993 Beverly made Oregon, USA, her home where she continued to be associated with those who are dedicated to teaching high quality NLP worldwide. Beverly shares her sense of humor and many of her unusual life experiences along with her skill, to make learning interesting and enjoyable. Her particular passion is in teaching health professionals advanced NLP Communication skills which in her opinion forms the basis of the “Patient Practitioner Connection.
