Syllabus and Introduction:
The syllabus is comprehensive and it incorporates all the necessary practical and theoretical training for a professional hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner.

At each weekend lecturing session, you will receive full notes and a comprehensive set of scripts, which you will be able to use throughout your professional career. Besides teaching you hypnotic and NLP processes for use with clients, we spend a measured and substantial amount of time on marketing and running a successful practice. A number of guest speakers, who are former graduates, and are running successful practices in Oregon and southern Washington State, will be imparting essential knowledge on hypnotherapy practice, marketing, and running a successful practice..

We have been teaching and certifying hypnotherapists since 1999 here in Portland, and we are proud of our former pupils and their success. We are also pleased to have a number of psychologists, medical doctors and naturopathic doctors among our successful graduates, who are incorporating into their practice hypnotic and NLP techniques learnt on this course. We are still seeking Dentists, where hypnosis can be beneficial in their practice!

The emphasis will be on demonstrations and workshops of various hypnotic and NLP techniques, and you will practice on your classmates and, on occasions, with outside volunteers. Guest speakers will also lecture on specific subjects that they are expert in.
You will be expected to team up with classmates, and practice that which you have been taught during the three or so weeks in between lectures.
Our course is basically Ericksonian hypnotherapy, together with NLP techniques developed, (amongst others),by Virginia Satir and by Bandler & Grinder, Robert Dilts and Robert Fletcher.

On passing your examinations, you will be entitled to join the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association, and The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, and our certification is accepted by the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc.

Free one day Lectures on Hypnotherapy.
I gave a series of these lectures over the summer months and they were well attended.

I will start a new series in April 2009 to August 2009.

I shall be happy to give more lectures in the intervening period if there is a demand, and more than eight people attend.
Get a group together.
I like lecturing to all branches of the medical profession, MD's, nurses
etc. I have lectured at schools, golf clubs, businesses, holistic gatherings, and a host of other groups. Get in touch if you wish me to do this. I do not charge.

Master Classes in Hypnotherapy
I shall be announcing dates of Master Classes in due course.
If there is a demand for a Master Class in a particular hypnotic subject, I shall be happy to arrange this. Classes can be for a morning to two days, at the weekend.
