The Knightsbridge Professional NGH Certification Training in Hypnotherapy and NLP provides comprehensive training for practitioners. Our complete course totals 27 days and 175 hours of training. The course is held over 3-day weekends, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 5.00 pm. Part 1 - National Guild of Hypnotists Basic Certification (100 hours)The first one hundred hours of hypnotherapy classroom and practical training follows the National Guild of Hypnotists ('NGH') syllabus which certifies you an NGH " Certified Hypnotherapist". Complete NGH course and the lecture notes are provide by the NGH, and the $160 cost for the NGH lecture notes is born by Knightsbridge. You will be taking exams at the end of Part 1. Part 2 - Knightsbridge Advanced Hypnosis Training (75 hours)The remaining seventy five hours of training includes the NLP classroom and practical training, and many more advanced hypnosis procedures, demonstrations, and hands on practice. This extended course gives you an incomparable training for Oregon and southern Washington State, and you will graduate with all the skills to start practicing as a competent hypnotherapist. You will take written and practical exams at the end of Part 2 and on passing, you will be additionally certified by the Knightsbridge Institute. NLP Foundation Skills CertificationYou will be certified with the NLP Foundation Skills Certification, based on International Standards, and you will find the NLP syllabus under Syllabus. This NLP introduction is taught by Beverly Martin, a certified NLP Master and Instructor, and you can go on to take the remainder of her NLP Practitioners Certification, which starts in April 2010, after the completion of the Knightsbridge Course. Professional Hypnotherapist CertificationOn passing your examinations, you will be a certified NGH Member, and the first year of membership fees for the NGH are included in your Knightsbridge tuition. Knightsbridge certification is accepted by those states in the US where you are required to register and show competence as a hypnotherapist. You will also be automatically entitled to join the Oregon Hypnotherapy Association, and The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. Syllabus & CurriculumThe syllabus is comprehensive and it incorporates all the practical and theoretical training necessary to prepare you for a professional hypnotherapy and NLP practice. Course FormatOur course is a combination of the NGH syllabus plus Ericksonian hypnotherapy, together with NLP techniques developed, (amongst others), by Virginia Satir and by Bandler & Grinder, Robert Dilts and Robert Fletcher. At each weekend lecturing session, you will receive full notes covering the material and a relevant set of scripts that you will be able to use throughout your professional career. The emphasis will be on demonstrations and workshops of various hypnotic and NLP techniques, and you will practice on your classmates and, on occasions, with outside volunteers. You will also be encouraged to team up with classmates, and practice that which you have been taught during the three or four weeks in between lectures. Guest lecturers will cover specific subjects in which they are experts. Besides the core curriculum, we will also teach you the business side of a successful hypnotherapy practice. A number of our guest speakers are former graduates who are running successful practices in Oregon and southern Washington State. They will be imparting essential knowledge on marketing and running a successful practice. Courses are usually videoed, and DVD's of each day are available at a nominal cost, so you can review what you have learnt in your own time at home.
